It was times like these when he wished he had joined the boy scouts. The chilled rain certainly wasn’t helping. He steadied his grip as best he could as he struck yet again.
It was then when the fire burst into life, flames licking at the sky in greedy consumption. He collapsed onto the ground, exhausted, soaking in its warm embrace. It wasn’t till he heard the thump and a muffled yell coming from the trunk of his car that he was brought out of his trance.
Right, he thought. Thanks for the reminder.
